Journalist picked up by armed people

Matloob Hussain Mosvi, a journalist currently associated with an Urdu daily was reportedly picked up by unidentified armed men from his residence located in the remits of Alflah Police Station, Korangi District, on Saturday. Family sources told Business Recorder that over a dozen armed men, who came in a few vehicles, barged into his residence at Salman Farsi Society, 50A/364, held the entire family hostage, and took him away, leaving the family in a state of shock and distress. They also took under custody Matloob's laptop, mobile phone and wallet. The family has also registered a complaint in a police station.
