Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Syed Kaleem Imam has directed the preparation of security and traffic plans for the holy month of Ramazan.
The Sindh police chief directed the formulation of fool-proof security and traffic plans at police range, district and zone levels after taking into account the lists of mosques, imambargahs, seminaries and open places for prayers/taraweeh to ensure protection of life and property of the people and effective traffic management during the holy month, said a statement issued here on Sunday.
He instructed that the security plans should be finalised in coordination with the Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, and other relevant institutions.
