AJK government approves power transmission agreement of 30.4 MW from Jaghran-1 power station
MUZAFFARABAD: The Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir here on Monday has formally approved the power transmission agreement of 30.4 MW from Jaghran-1 power station after the negotiations held between the federal government and Central Power Purchase Agency.
The annual income of AJK government would be expected Rs.600 million to Rs.700 million approximately from Jaghran-1 power station in supplying power transmission after signing on the agreement.
It is worth mentioning that power supply from Jaghran-1 project was continue from last 18 years and after a long time the agreement which is its final touch was possible due to personal interest of AJK Premier Raja Farooq Haider who made hectic efforts in this regard.
After the 13th constitutional Amendment this agreement would be very important step from the incumbent government of Azad Kashmir.
