Peshawar district administration has imposed ban on sale and purchase of toy guns in the district under Section 144. According to a statement issued from the office of deputy commissioner, the business of toy guns was on the rise in Peshawar, which has negative effects on the society.
Deputy commissioner Mohammad Ali Ashgar said that the measures have been taken for maintaining law and order and to avoid any untoward incident. He said that strict action would be taken against the violators of the ban on toy guns.
Meanwhile, the district administration of Lower Dir has banned the sale and purchase of toy guns in the whole district under Section 144.
Deputy Commissioner Shaukat Ali Yousafzai issued the orders of banning toy guns. Under the instructions of the provincial government, food packages were also distributed among 700 inmates of Timergara Jail under the supervision of the deputy commissioner.
