Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar on Saturday said that the provinces should be formed on administrative basis not ethnic. Talking to media persons, Sattar asked why can't the government form South Sindh province if it can approve resolution for South Punjab. Prime Minister Imran Khan should address the reservations of MQM, he added.
On the other hand, MQM-P leader Kunwar Naveed Jamil said that he will talk to PM on separate units in Sindh. Farooq Sattar has no link with MQM but if he tries to correct himself then we will surely work together, he added. Earlier, PM Imran Khan had clarified that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is against the formation of another province in Sindh as there is no need of it after ruling party's new local body system.
