Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Industries Association of Pakistan Founder/Chairman Irfan Khokhar has said that due to better policies of government and reduction of LPG prices in the international market, the LPG will be available to the domestic and commercial consumers at low rate.
While addressing a press conference on Thursday Irfan Khokhar said that the association was against 'Hundi', money laundering, smuggling and import of substandard gas. He was of the view that if import of LPG would stop the prices would shoot up to Rs 200 to 250 per kilo. The LPG association and Awami Rickshaw Union Chairman Majeed Ghouri urged the government not to impose tax on the gas in the coming 2019-20 budget.
