On Tuesday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,838. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 12.210 billion and the number of lots traded 14,240. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 6.824 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.342 billion, gold PKR 1.148 billion, SP500 PKR 866.356 million, DJ PKR 771.488 million, WTI crude oil PKR 639.618 million, platinum PKR 197.511 million, natural gas PKR 160.878 million, silver PKR 141.412 million, copper PKR 71.849 million, Brent crude oil PKR 27.134 million and Palladium PKR 20.126 million.
In agriculture commodities 35 lots of cotton valued at PKR 22.803 million and 5 lots of wheat valued at PKR 18.925 million were traded.
