Awami National Party (ANP) has finalized arrangements for its province-wide protest against price hike and anti-people policies of the government being staged today (Sunday) across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the scheduled finalized by the party, central president, Asfandyar Wali Khan will lead and address a big demo at Charsadda while provincial president, Aimal Wali Khan will lead two protest demos. First at Amn Chowk, Swabi at 10:00 A.M and the second on 4:00 P.M at Yakaghund, District Mohmand.
The senior vice president and former KP Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti will rally at College Chowk, Mardan on 6:00 P.M while provincial general secretary Asfandyar Wali Khan will address demonstrators in Swari Bazaar at District Bunner on 10:00 A.M.
In the provincial capital, Peshawar Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour and Khushdil Khan advocate will join and lead the demo at Sue Karno Square (Khyber Bazaar) while Saqibullah Khan and Zahid Khan will lead protestors in Nowshera and Dir Lower.
Similar protest demos will also be organized in districts Malakand, Shangla, Chitral, Torghar, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Kohat, Karak, D.I. Khan, Tank, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Khyber, North Waziristan and South Waziristan respectively.
