Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that opposition was trying to create chaos for its personal gains. The ex-rulers were responsible for current price hike as a result of which the whole nation is reaping the fruit of massive corruption, she said.
The Special Assistant further stated that in fact the hue and cry of some political elements was to divert the attention of the masses from their massive corruption. On this occasion, she strongly condemned the drama of video and termed it a fake and said that PML-N was trying undermining the institutions of the country. She said that government had ordered to hold complete inquiry into the matter, adding the government will make black and white to public about the video.
Addressing a news conference at a local hotel on Sunday afternoon she said that PTI led government was making sincere efforts for bringing the country out of multifarious problems on top priority basis adding that people would observe a visible change in near future he said.
Dr Firdous further stated that ex-rulers had protected the corruption just for prolonging their tenures and ruined the national economy ruthlessly for their personal gains. The Special Assistant further stated that government was endeavoring for making the country poverty and corruption free aimed at protecting future of young generation.
Firdous said that government was making adequate efforts for bringing out the country out economic crisis adding that several positive steps had been taken for strengthening the economy. The PTI government is endeavoring to bringing radical changes in every sphere of life as well as solving the problems of the country on top priority basis she said.
She said that PTI government believes in supremacy of rule of law and democracy and was making all out efforts to strengthen democratic institutions and promotion of democracy at grassroots level in the country, she said. She further said that government was making adequate efforts for improving economic conditions of the working journalists across the country.
The government she was fully aware about the economic conditions of the journalist community and decided to resolve all issues on top priority basis. Firdous said that in this direction the government was formulating a strategy to address the problems of the journalists as well as to resolve the economic problems being faced by the press clubs of the country.
The Special Assistant further stated that PTI-led government believes in democracy and was making efforts for strengthening the democratic institutions not believe political victimization adding that opposition is a beauty of democracy. Firdous further stated that government was taking necessary measures for resolving the issues confronted by the business community of the country aimed at keep the production wheel in full motion adding that business community is the backbone of the economy and keeping its contribution and importance soon announce its policy in this regard.
She said that PTI-led government was not responsible for price hick it was the result of ruthless corruption of past rulers. The government was making adequate efforts for keeping prices of articles of daily use under control across the country, she said.
