United States Department of State spokesperson Morgan Ortagus has said no deadline could be announced for Afghanistan peace agreement, Aaj News reported late Thursday night. Ortagus spoke on Afghan-Pakistan affairs at a press briefing.
She called Imran-Trump's first meeting important and said talks between the two remained successful. She said it is time for breakthrough on Pakistan-US relations. The spokesperson termed President Trump and Secretary Pompeo's had opportunity to establish relation in meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan. She said that Imran Khan had requested Taliban for talks. She saw it a breakthrough for Afghan peace process.
