Likewise other parts of the country, the black day was observed against the incumbent government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Tehsil Bara of Khyber district on Thursday. In this connection under the banner of Pakistan Awami Inqelabi League (PAIL) a protest rally was organized in Bara bazaar that was attended by large number of the party workers beside general masses.
The protesters were holding placards and banners inscribed with slogans in favour of their demand and were chanted slogans like "go selected go, go incompetent go" etc.
Addressing on the occasion Pakistan Awami Inqelabi League Chief Attaullah Afridi said that all the democratic forces of the country commemorated black day to express their resent over false mandate granted to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and as result Prime Minster was imposed on the country.
"We will never permit anyone to derail democracy and we categorically condemn the act of stealing of people mandate", he remarked. He maintained that democracy had been restored in the country by rendering matchless sacrifices and PAIL beside other democratic parties would leave no stone unturned to work for its persistence.
