The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has provisionally collected Rs 277 billion during first month of current fiscal year, ie, July 2019 against the target of Rs 291 billion, reflecting a shortfall of Rs 14 billion. These are provisional figures and revenue collection would further increase on compilation of final data for July 2019. According to the provisional data compiled by the FBR, the tax authorities have provisionally collected Rs 277 billion in July 2019 against Rs 255 billion during July 2018, reflecting an increase of Rs 22 billion year-on-year.
