The Met Office on Saturday forecast mainly hot and humid weather for the most parts of the country in next 24 hours. However, isolated rain and wind-thunderstorm is expected in Hazara, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Bahawalpur and Sahiwal Divisions, besides Islamabad and Kashmir. "Seasonal low lies over northeast Balochistan. Weak monsoon currents from Arabian Sea are penetrating upper and central parts of the country," the Met said.
In the next 24 hours: Scattered rain and wind-thunderstorm hit Peshawar, Hazara, Bannu, D.I Khan and Zhob Divisions and Kashmir, while isolated falls in Rawalpindi and Lahore Divisions and Islamabad. Weather remained hot and humid in other parts of the country. Muzaffarabad Airport received maximum rainfall as 60 mm and Muzaffarabad City 44 mm followed by Peshawar Airport 35 mm, Malamjabba 34 mm, Peshawar City 27 mm, D .I. Khan and Garidupatta 21 mm, each, Attock 22 mm, Cherat 20 mm, Balakot 17 mm, Bannu 15 mm, Bhakkar 12 mm, D I Khan and Joharabad 10 mm, each, Kakul 9 mm, Faislabad 8 mm, Kotli 6 mm and Rawalakot 5 mm.
Nokkundi and Dalbandin were the hottest places in the country with 46 degrees Celsius, each, Dadu and Sibbi 43, each, Multan 40, Quetta and Hyderabad 37, each, Faisalabad and Gilgit 35 mm, each, Karachi, Peshawar and Muzaffarabad 34 mm, each and Islamabad and Lahore 33, each.
Temperature in Karachi is expected to remain up to 28 degrees Celsius with 80 percent humidity as the city may witness a partly cloudy weather with chances of drizzles.
