On the eve of 72nd Independence Day celebrations, flag hoisting ceremony held at PNSC headquarters with launching of tree plantation drive to make Pakistan an eco friendly and green state.
Chairman PNSC/Secretary Maritime Affairs Rizwan Ahmed hoisted the flag. He said that this memorable day is a result of sacrifices and endeavors of our forefathers for a separate homeland. "We have to re-assure their struggle as well," he added.
"Pakistan got freedom amid unfavorable situation and weak infrastructure. Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah presented "Two Nations Theory" at a very sensitive time and the analogy has been tested yesterday and proved even today. The whole world and future will testify this theory as an ultimate reality," said Rizwan Ahmed.
Rizwan Ahmed said PNSC is continuing to serve the nation. He said new vessels to be included soon. He also hopes that LNG and Industrial hydrocarbons transportation projects to be launched very soon. Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Ali Zaidi said that India's barbarism in Kashmir and evil intentions depicts rise of another Hitler from the East.-PR
