Deteriorating situations in IHK: Government, international community urged to take alert of Genocide Watch seriously
Jamaat-e-Islami provincial ameer and Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan on Saturday called upon the government and world community to take alert of Genocide Watch seriously over deteriorating situations in India Held Kashmir. Senator Mushtaq Ahmad said the Genocide Watch, a global organisation dedicated to the prevention of genocide, had issued two warning alerts for India - one for the occupied territory of Kashmir and the other for Assam state, which he termed it as a wakeup call for government of Pakistan and world community.
He was speaking a conference at held in Auditorium of Qazi Fazal Qadir Park (Jail Park) in district Bannu. Besides, JI deputy ameer, Prof Mohammad Ibrahim, provincial deputy ameer, Maulana Tasleem Iqbal, district Bannu ameer, Mohammad Ajmal Khan and Secretary General, Tameezuddin, a large number of JI workers and people from different walk of life were also attended the conference.
JI leader said that the nation will not pardon to PM Imran Khan, if he can show any leniency on Kashmir issue. He expressed fear about genocide of people of Kashmir amid deteriorating situations in Indian Held Kashmir. He said the curfew imposed for last 19 days has made life of people miserable in the occupied territory.
Senator Mushtaq Ahmad said that India had always violated UN relevant resolutions regarding Kashmir. He said that the revoking of Article 370 to change status of Jammu & Kashmir was tantamount to opposition towards resolutions of world organisations. He said the Kashmir is our jugular vein of Pakistan and included in our blood. He said the abolishment of Article 370 and altering status of the J&Kashmir was tantamount to occupation on our jugular vein.
JI leader said it is shameful that government of Pakistan was yet not closed airspace and Indian PM Modi aircraft flown over the Pakistan territory for France. He said that Pakistan has completely failed in its foreign policy. He said now Muslim leaders were supporting India instead of Pakistan and making investment in India. He asked the government to adopt aggressive foreign policy and to take firm stance on Kashmir issue. He demanded of the government to devise a roadmap for Independence of Kashmir and press the Muslim world to hold a meeting of OIC on Kashmir issue in Islamabad.
