Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Central Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Sunday asked the government to provide practical assistance to Kashmiris beyond statements, saying that the Pakistanis will support Kashmiris till the last drop of blood. He also announced his party will hold an Awami March in Karachi to express solidarity with people of Kashmir on September 01.
"If the government would fail to raise voice for Kashmiris people effectively, then JI will hold from Peshawar to Karachi and will hold Kashmir Awami March in Karachi and Srinagar, JI chief said while speaking a Kashmir Awami March to express solidarity with people of Kashmir in provincial capital Peshawar.
The Awami march was attended by a large number of Jamaat-e-Islami workers. The Kashmir Awami march was started from main grand trunk road, which converged into a big procession in historic Qissa Khawani bazaar. The rally was also addressed by provincial leader, MNA, Senators, MPA and other local activists.
The JI workers wore traditional party cap and held the party flag and shouted full-throated slogans' in favour of people of Kashmir and against the India for its ongoing barbarism in the occupied Kashmir.
Senator Siraj ul Haq said that the deteriorating situation in India Held Kashmir and tension with antagonist India has put huge responsibility on our shoulder to support the prolonged Kashmir people struggle for right to self-determination and free scenic valley of Kashmir from clutches of Indian armed forces. He announced that JI will hold an Awami March in Karachi on September 01.
He observed that a large number of innocent Kashmiris martyred and many injured for last by the Indian troops in the occupied valley. He said the ban had been imposed on JI and 4000 workers jailed in the occupied Kashmir. He said the education institutions were deserted and people didn't access to health facility in India Held Kashmir.
So people of Kashmir are looking toward Pakistan and people of Pakistan but it is unfortunate that government of Pakistan is looking toward United States despite the Kashmiris hoping from it, JI chief said.
Today, we must decide that we will move for freedom of Kashmir and free the Kashmiris from the clutches of Indian troops. He criticized the Prime Minister for only giving statement about the something happening dangerous in Indian Occupied Kashmir. I asked from PM that he is waiting from any massacre and tragedy.
Senator Sirajul Haq asked the government to review its policies, saying that one side PM Modi is carrying out massacre of innocent Kashmir while some Islamic countries honouring with award. "If the government would fail to raise voice for Kashmiris people effectively, then JI will hold from Peshawar to Karachi and will hold Kashmir Awami March in Srinagar, Siraj said.
JI chief demanded of the international community to take notice of the situation added that the terrifying face of the so-called Indian democracy has been exposed to the world. He said that India has made the occupied Valley a hell for the Kashmiris, adding that the pellet guns also couldn't suppress independence movement of the Kashmiris.
