Sindh Accountant General, Gufran Memon inaugurated Sindh GP Fund Centres in District Badin, District Umerkot and District Mithi. AG Sindh announced that these centres would be established in all 22 districts of Sindh. GP Fund cases of more than 500,000 employees of Sindh will be updated and computerized by December 31, 2019, so that they may get their GP Fund payments without any hassle and delay.
He also said the accounts sector is being made computerized as like PIFRA with the collaboration of World Bank so that transparency process would be made in delivering of GP funds, pensions and usage of government funds and payments would be given to the Government servants easily.
On this occasion the District Accounts Officer Tharparkar Muhammad Memon briefed that there are 11,656 employees according to the pay roll who are getting the salaries from District Accounts Office Mihti and in 2019-20, 39 employees are being retired from service, in 2020-21, 52 employees will be retired and in 2021-22, 14 employees will be retired from the service, will be facilitated from GP Fund Centers.
