railwayHYDERABAD: Like other parts of Sindh, at least four blasts took place at main railway line near Sahrish Nagar, Qasimabad, and near Nazeer Hussain flyover, Latifabad, Hyderabad, early Saturday morning causing damage to tracks however no loss of life was reported.

The first two blasts took place at about 6.15a.m near Sahrish Nagar while hardly after half an hour two explosives went off near the flyover of Latifabad. The 2ft up and down tracks were damaged by the explosions.

The police and bomb disposal squads rushed to the scene and collected the evidences. According to bomb disposal squad, the explosives were of locally made time bombs weighing about 2.5kg.

The trains on up and down tracks were halted at Hyderabad and Kotri stations and were allowed to proceed for onward journey after two hours when the tracks were repaired.

The police found a pamphlet from the place of incidents according to which Sindh Liberation Army accepted the responsibility of blasts. The police have not yet lodged FIR and the Railway police were investigating into case.
