Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Altaf Shakoor has asked the government to take notice of steep fees and charges of Testing Services, fleecing jobless youth with both hands.
He said the jobless people are compelled to pay hefty charges of the testing services, ranging from Rs300 to Rs1500 per vacancy. He said sometimes posts are cancelled and re-advertised after conducting tests, which is a cruel joke with the jobless youth. He said jobless people and their families have to bear heavy financial burden which should be reduced by bringing drastic reforms in the testing services.
Altaf Shakoor said unemployment has already broken all previous records and armies of jobless youth are running from pillar to post carrying their degrees in search of job. He said crime is also on the rise due to rampant unemployment. He said there are several testing services including National testing service (NTS), BTS, OTS, CTS, etc. He said in fact the testing service sector has become a lucrative trade, as it has been given a free hand by the government to fleece jobless citizens.
