A city magistrate on Monday withdrew bailable arrest warrants of singer Rabi Pirzada after she appeared before the court in case of keeping wild reptiles at home. The court had issued the arrest warrants after she failed to appear despite repeated notices issued to her.
Earlier her counsel argued that his client could not appear on earlier hearings as she was out of country. The court accepted her plea and adjourned the proceeding to October 11 when hearing on the main case will be held. Wildlife department had filed a complaint that the singer committed violation of laws by keeping crocodile and a python at her home and salon.
