Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) has posted 13.3 percent growth in revenue collection during the first quarter of current fiscal year. According to official details, during the first quarter of ongoing financial year, SRB collected Rs 23 billion as against the collection of Rs 20.3 made during the last preceding period, reflecting 13.3 percent growth.
During the month of September 2019, SRB collected revenue of Rs nine billion as compared to Rs 7.5 billion collected during last corresponding month, depicting a growth of 20 percent. Meanwhile, SRB said that the success in achieving the aforesaid growth in revenue during the first quarter has been made possible due to continued trust and cooperation of SRB taxpayers, continuous support by the Sindh government and the relentless efforts made by the SRB employees.
