ABIDJAN: Cocoa arrivals at ports in top grower Ivory Coast reached 1.442 million tonnes between Oct. 1 and Feb. 17, exporters estimated on Monday, up about nine percent from 1.321 million tonnes in the same period last season.

Exporters had previously estimated that around 1.376 million tonnes of cocoa beans arrived in Ivorian ports on Feb. 10, up from 1.259 million tonnes the previous year, but figures have been updated with CCC official data.

About 19,000 tonnes of beans were delivered to Abidjan port and 20,000 tonnes to San Pedro between Feb. 11 and Feb. 17, for a total of 39,000 tonnes, up from 27,000 tonnes during the same week last season.
