KSE-100 index of PSX loses 785.12 points
ISLAMABAD: The KSE-100 index of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) plunged by 785.12 points (2.02%) to close at 38,821.67 points on Tuesday.
A total of 104,826,730 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 5.368 billion.
Out of companies, share prices of 100 companies recorded increase while that of 211 companies registered decrease whereas 21 companies remained stable in today's trading.
BOP was the volume leader with 23,368,000 shares, and its per share price decreased by Rs 0.42 to close at Rs 12.8 per share.
KEL remained the runner up with 8,594,000 shares traded during the day and its price also decreased by Rs 0.16 per share to close at Rs 6.2 followed by EPCL, trading volume of which was recorded 7,908,000 shares, and its price per share increased by Rs 0.06 and closed at Rs 36.41.
