Watch Trevor Noah mocking India-Pakistan border tensions in hilarious ‘Bollywood style’
In his typical humorous style, comedian Trevor Noah mocked the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan in 'Bollywood style' during his show ‘The Daily Show’ and Pakistanis are enjoying it, unlike many Indians.
In a video clip of his show that is being shared widely on social media, Noah can be seen saying that while he hopes India and Pakistan do not go to war, it would be the ‘most entertaining’ war if they did. He trolls how Indian soldiers will fight in their Bollywood style on border.
Continuing on with the mocking, he went on to say that it will be the longest war as everyone will get to see so many dance numbers by the Indian soldiers as they fight. Noah also accepted that he a Bollywood fanboy.
Being the comedian that he is, it is Noah's job to look at the lighter side of things and extract comedy from different circumstances. However, his comments and jokes did not seem to sit well with Indians. Although Indians aren’t too happy with his stance on such a serious situation, Pakistanis, on the other hand, are surely enjoying every bit of it.
Few twitter users questioned how someone could find the tense situation funny, however, many found it a bit of a comic relief in this war-like situation.
Noah's 'Daily talkshow' is news satire television program that draws its comedy and satire from recent news stories. In he same show before speaking about India-Pakistan, Noah also made some hilarious jokes on US President Donald Trump’s recent meeting with North Korean President Kim Jong-Un.
