TOKYO: Japan's crude oil imports rose 3.3 percent in February from a year earlier to 3.09 million barrels per day (13.77 million kilolitres), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) said on Friday.
Japan's domestic oil product sales last month fell 6.5 percent from a year earlier to 3.3 million barrels per day (bpd), the data showed.
Gasoline sales dropped 2.1 percent to 851,533 bpd, while kerosene sales slumped 17.2 percent from a year earlier to 502,176 bpd, the data showed.
