LARKANA: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that it is 40th year of what he called ‘judicial murder’ of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, which he said is a tragic and painful chapter of history.

He was addressing a large public gathering of party activists in Garhi Khuda Bhutto to celebrate 40th death anniversary of PPP founder Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, near here on Thursday evening.

He said today the first elected prime minister of Pakistan was murdered in darkness who gave the country constitution, and every section of society is asking why a person was killed who safeguarded the country.

He said Shaheed Bhutto had said that he will end one-unit with one kick. He warned that if any effort is made to roll back the 18th amendment or re-establishing one-unit then he will also end them with his kick.

He said a ‘selected’ prime minister is saying in Ghotki that due to the 18th amendment the Center has become bankrupt. He said ‘Benami prime minster’ is unaware that strong provinces are signs of a strong Center. He said we will never allow end of Shaheed Bhutto's constitution. He said ‘puppet prime’ said in Ghotki that he doesn't need Sindh. “Who are you, Sindh don't need you,” Bilawal said in angry tone.

He said they want Sindh's resources, gas and water but we will save the rights of Sindh. He said with provision of Rs120billion we could have given employment to unemployed youth, new schools could have been opened and new hospitals could have been constructed. He said we made provinces strong through the 18th amendment. He said electricity tariff has been enhanced but there is no electricity.

Bilawal said that finance minister is saying that due to his policies people will cry and moan. He said this minister is also unaware of agriculture. Is he a federal minister or an ‘economic terrorist’ who is killing labourers, farmers, pensioners and unemployed due to price-hike, Bilawal asked.

He said ongoing accountability is based on political victimization and engineering. He said money laundering case belongs to Sindh and it should be heard here. He claimed there is no law under which it could be shifted to Rawalpindi. He said don't hide your sins in the name of accountability.

Bilawal asked why National Action Plan is not being implemented. He said we have faith in courts despite the fact that we have not been given justice in the past. He said the mission of Shaheed Bhutto was taken forward by Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and now I will carry on his mission ahead. He said they are afraid of Bhutto's name even today.
