ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda said on Thursday the government would announce one million jobs within next two weeks.
While talking to a private new channel, he said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government was responsible for Pakistan’s poor economy and inflation. He said that lack of jobs was due to PML-N’s poor policies.
PTI got the public mandate to form government and the same people would stand with the government through thick and thin adding that the PML-N leaders had lost the trust of the people as their credibility became dubious, he stated.
"Inflation, unemployment and energy crises were remained the biggest issues during the PML-N government as well, but they were busy in minting money and constructing roads rather than introducing projects to end these troubles," he added.
Previously: The news agency misquoted the minster saying "Govt to announce one billion jobs soon". However a few hours later, they realised their mistake and corrected the story as mentioned above.
