KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 20,001.75 points with a negative change of -92.98 and volume of 78,620,600 shares. High and Low were 20,244.07 and 20,001.43 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 6 were up, 23 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 139,977,140 shares. Total companies traded were 347 of which 137 were positive, 188 were negative and 22 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 29,411,300 shares. It was followed by Vanaspati and Allied Industries with a total traded volume of 21,451,300 shares.
