KARACHI: The government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has imposed life sentence for culprits involved in acid attacks, the media reported on Saturday.
According to the media, President of Azad Kashmir approved the punishment of life imprisonment and a fine of Rs1 million charged to the person found guilty in acid throwing incidents.
The ordinance would remain effective for three months until the legislation is passed, the media further stated.
