HAMBURG/DUBAI: Jordan's state grain buyer the trade ministry has made no purchase in an international tender to buy 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat which closed on Tuesday, traders said.

Only one trading company took part, Ameropa, took part.

A new tender is expected to be issued soon to close on April 30.

In recent months, Jordan has struggled to buy wheat and barley in tenders after changed terms for quality specifications and payment reduced participation by international trading houses.
