Dollar soars by Rs 5.13 in interbank, closed at Rs 146.52
ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Dollar in interbank soared by Rs 5.13 and was traded at Rs 146.52 as compared to the last closing at Rs 141.39, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Thursday.
However according to Forex Association of Pakistan the buying and selling rates of Dollar in open Market recorded at Rs 146 and Rs 147.50.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro increased by Rs 5.87 after which it was traded at Rs 164.44 against Rs158.57 of last day.
The price of Japanese yen increased by 04 paisa and was traded at Rs 1.33 against Rs 1.29, whereas the increase of Rs 5.53 was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 188.14 as compared to last closing at Rs 182.61.
Exchange rates of UAE Dirham jumped by Rs 1.39 whereas Saudi Rayal gained Rs 1.36 and were traded at Rs 39.88 and 39.06 against Rs 38.49 and Rs 37.70 respectively.
