Vivek Oberoi apologises after targeting his ex Aishwarya Rai in offensive tweet
Actor Vivek Oberoi has been facing severe backlash for targeting his ex Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in an offensive tweet highlighting her past relationships. The actor has now apologized for his insensitive tweet that caused social media storm.
He posted a meme about Indian opinion poll, exit poll and final results with a series of pictures featuring Aishwarya Rai with Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi and finally with Abhishek Bachchan.
The actor has, however, deleted the tweet after facing severe backlash on social media. He also posted an apology through Twitter.
Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies🙏🏻 tweet deleted.

His tweet mocking Aishwarya and her relationships has received major flak. The actor has been slammed on social media as well as from Bollywood film fraternity for being insensitive towards the actress.
Sonam Kapoor was the first to say it was classless and in poor taste. In retaliation, Vivek said she should stop overacting in films and on Twitter.
Actor Urmila Matondkar, Payal Rohatgi, Kriti Kharbanda, Karanvir Bohra and director Madhur Bhandarkar are few other celebs who slammed the actor for his offensive tweet.
