Shanghai/Singapore:* China's April refined fuel consumption dropped 2.4% from a year earlier to 27.06 million tonnes, the National Development and Reform Commission said on Thursday
* Gasoline demand rose 3.2% in April from the year before, while diesel consumption slumped 8.1%, the NDRC said
* For the first four months of the year, apparent demand for refined products was down 0.3%, according to the NDRC
* Gasoline and diesel demand grew 3.6 and 5.9% respectively in the first four months of 2019, the NDRC said
