Sylvester Stallone returns as Rambo in first trailer for ‘Last Blood’
Sylvester Stallone is back as ‘Rambo’ in the first trailer for the highly-anticipated fifth installment of the successful franchise. John Rambo is back for one last fight, and this time again he is on a killing spree.
“I’ve lived in a world of death,” Stallone’s Rambo says in the clip for the fifth entry in the action franchise. “I’ve watched people I’ve loved die. Some fast with a bullet. Some, not enough to bury. All these years I’ve kept my secrets. But the time has come to face my past.”
The trailer show Stallone travels to Mexico to rescue his friend's daughter after she is kidnapped by a Mexican cartel. He crosses the American/Mexico border and finds himself up against one of the country's most violent organizations.
Latest clip promises that the film will contain plenty of Stallone employing explosions, his massive knife and his bow and arrows to take down a wide variety of enemies. “I want them to know that death is coming and there’s nothing they can do to stop it,” he was heard saying.
Titled ‘Rambo: Last Blood’, the Lionsgate release will open September 20, 2019, nearly 12 years after the January 2008 release.
