ATHENS: Greece's economy expanded in January-to-March after shrinking slightly in last year's final quarter, the country's statistics service (ELSTAT) said on Tuesday.
The seasonally adjusted data showed gross domestic product expanded by 0.2pc in the first quarter compared to a 0.1pc decline in October-to-December.
The data also showed the economy expanded at an annual 1.3pc percent clip in the first quarter, decelerating from a downwardly revised 1.5pc growth rate in the previous three-month period.
