People not to support corruption, corrupt elements: Faisal Vawda
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Vawda on Monday said the people would not come out for those elements involved in corruption activities.

The coalition partners of PPP had filed the corruption cases against the former President Asif Ali Zardari during their government's tenure and NAB was investigating those filed cases, he said.
The NAB, he said was an independent institution of the country, adding that the institution was tackling the cases without any influence of the government.
To a question about accountability, Faisal Vawda said that the government was trying to make this institution more effective.
In reply to another question, he said if the leaders of PML-N, did not had any role in corruption then why don't they come to Pakistan and clear their position before the NAB.
To another question about arrest of Asif Ali Zardari, he said that the people will not come out for the protection of a person who had been charged in corruption cases.
