BEIJING: China's power consumption in May rose 2.3pc from a year earlier to 566.5 billion kilowatt hours, data from the National Energy Administration (NEA) showed on Friday
For the Jan-May period, the country consumed a total of 2.80 trillion kilowatt hours of power, up 4.9pc from the previous year.
