Chris Hemsworth to receive ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ star
‘Thor’ actor Chris Hemsworth has been named to receive iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame star. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s Walk of Fame Selection Committee announced on Thursday the full list of actors, musicians and performers who will get a Walk of Fame stars in 2020.
Hemsworth, Julia Roberts, Octavia Spencer and Mahershala Ali are among the A-list actors chosen in the Motion Picture category, as are Oscar-winning filmmakers Spike Lee and Lina Wertmüller, iconic costume designer Ruth E. Carter and the fictional character Batman, have been chosen for the coveted honor.
Selection Committee chairman Vin Di Bona said, “The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is pleased to announce our newest honourees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This year's choices were particularly unique. We were able to recognise the talents of 35 artists who have already built a legacy here in Hollywood”.
Chris is best known for playing superhero ‘Thor’ in the ‘Avengers’ franchise and most recently starred in ‘Men in Black: International’. He is now one of Hollywood's most bankable and highest-paid stars, with his films usually raking in more than $3billion at the box office.
