First official trailer of ‘Charlie’s Angels’ reboot is out

The first official trailer of ‘Charlie’s Angels’ is out starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska in the lead roles. The Angels franchise has been rebooted before, most notably in a hit 2000 movie starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu.

In the 2019 Charlie's Angels, the Townsend private detective agency has gone international and has multiple teams of Angels and Bosleys running around the world, saving the day. The film is being co-written and directed by Elizabeth Banks (who also plays one of the Bosleys).

In the new trailer, the set-up is familiar: three skilled women take on action-packed missions with style, savvy and some heavy artillery. In this film, the women are led by mentors, all of whom call themselves Bosleys.

The trailer shows Kristen, Naomi and Ella are assigned to prevent a new technology from being weaponized. Along the way they meet a hunky nerd played by Noah Centineo, the poster boy from Netflix teen rom-coms like ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’ and ‘The Perfect Date’.

The movie will hit theatres later this year.
