SILVERSTONE: Lewis Hamilton extended his lead at the top of the Formula One championship on Sunday after winning the British Grand Prix for a record sixth time.

Hamilton, a Briton, won for the seventh time in 10 GPs this season to pull further away from Valtteri Bottas, who had started from pole position in the other Mercedes,

Ferrari's Charles LeClerc finished third, over 30 seconds behind Hamilton.
