MOSCOW: Russia, one of the world's largest grain exporters, has harvested 32.7 million tonnes of grain with an average yield of 3.71 tonnes per hectare, data from the Agriculture Ministry showed.
It had harvested 27.2 million tonnes with an average yield of 3.76 tonnes on the same date a year earlier, the ministry said.
Russia's 2019 grain harvesting started earlier than a year ago due to dry weather in several regions.
