LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Information Mian Aslam Iqbal on Thursday said that people of Lahore had rejected the corrupt elements and declared their so-called black-day to save their corruption.
He said that under the garb of saving their corruption and all other attempts to provoke the traders community had met with utter failure.

The Minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had undertaken a successful visit to United States and the narrative of Pakistan had been acknowledged at international level.
Nawaz Sharif and company were tainted with stigma in the past and their present record was also labeled with corruption along with court stamp.
The Minister put a question, "How come PML-N and PPP do not stop praising each other today? Only one year before their these parties had attempted to prove each other corrupt."
Mian Aslam Iqbal said that this was a unity between discarded and blotted opposition which would never meet with success.
He said that people were siding with Imran Khan with a sense of pride and the narrative of Pakistan had also been widely acknowledged in the US. It was a great success and achievement of Prime Minister Imran Khan to carry the relations forward with the US, he added.
The Minister further said that process of accountability would be completed without any discrimination. "We are heading towards the destination of making Naya Pakistan and will soon achieve our objective," he added.
To a question, Mian Aslam Iqbal said that people of Pakistan had bulldozed the narrative of the opposition which would prove to be a last nail in their coffin.
He said, the administration offered the opposition a substitute place at Nasir Bagh to stage protest but they could not bring such a large number of people so they resorted to stubbornness.
The Minister said unfortunately opposition parties had no agenda but to save the corrupt elements.
