KIEV: The share of milling wheat in Ukraine's 2019 wheat harvest is likely to rise to up to 70 percent from around 55 percent in 2018 thanks to hot and dry weather, analysts and traders said on Monday.
Ukraine, among the world's leading grain producers and exporters, had harvested 20.4 million tonnes of wheat from 77 percent of the sown area by July 26.
Hot and dry weather dominated most Ukrainian regions in May and June, creating ideal conditions for a high quality wheat harvest.
