NAB serves legal notice to Mustafa Kamal for using inappropriate language against it
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) issued on Tuesday a notice to Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal for using inappropriate language against the institution.
In a statement issued, the bureau said that the PSP chairman will have to issue an apology for his words used against NAB and its officers. The bureau has also said that if the former Karachi mayor does not tender an apology, then it will approach the court for legal action, local media reported.
NAB has also announced to investigate the amount of Rs300 billion that was to be used for development work in Karachi during Kamal's tenure. The bureau added that the PSP leader should refrain from using derogatory language against the accountability watchdog and instead use the energy to defend himself in the reference filed against him.
