KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 16,195.56 points with a negative change of -38.82 and volume of 108,449,100 shares. High and Low were 16,640.54 and 16,125.55 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 8 were up, 22 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 146,537,210 shares. Total companies traded were 342 of which 122 were positive, 202 were negative and 18 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 36,096,900 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 21,279,500 shares.
