KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the upper side on Tuesday at 17,633.97 points with a positive change of 150.96 and volume of 80,042,000 shares. High and Low were 17,750.83 and 17,351.02 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 12 were up, 18 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 122,012,850 shares. Total companies traded were 363 of which 174 were positive, 170 were negative and 19 were unchanged.

Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 25,532,300 shares. It was followed by Cable and Electrical Goods with a total traded volume of 16,927,100 shares.
