Imran Ashraf responds to Firdous Jamal's criticism on ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’
- Firdous Jamal in a shocking statement said that the character Imran Ashraf did wasn’t spontaneous.
- Imran’s response has left everyone stunned he took the criticism in a very positive way.
- Firdous also said that the actors these days are just models/mannequins.
After his controversial statement against Mahira Khan, veteran actor Firdous Jamal is once again in headlines for criticizing Imran Ashraf’s one of the best performances in ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’.
Imran has also gracefully replied to his comment saying that he respect his opinion and he’ll try to improve himself as an actor in future.
Firdous said that the actors these days are just models. He said that they are just like mannequins in a garment store whose clothes and wigs are regularly changed to suit the needs of the shop but this does not make them an actor.
Talking about Imran in ‘Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’ he told a local media, “It wasn’t a spontaneous performance, but only pretension. He was acting, not behaving. Many people have outperformed such characters but unfortunately you haven’t seen those precious acts. I don’t want to criticize any individual here, but sadly acting is turning into a fashion these days. The fact is that the two professions are polar opposites as modeling is self projection, while acting is self negation”.
Earlier, Firdous made sexist comment on Mahira's age which also became talk of the town.
