The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in a consultative meeting held here on Wednesday with party president Shahbaz Sharif in the chair discussed in detail the country's political situation and decided in principle to play its role for giving tough time to the incumbent PTI government.
The PML-N meeting also discussed JUI-F's Azadi March and different options came under discussion. There were differences within the party; one group is supporting participation in the march while the others are in favour of taking advantage from the present situation.
The sources claimed that Shahbaz Sharif will also consult former prime minister Nawaz Sharif regarding Azadi March on Thursday (today). Final decision would be unfolded after this meeting.
The sources claimed that the PML-N will expose the incumbent government and expose it within and outside the Parliament.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Information Secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb while talking to the media, affirmed that PTI-led government has badly failed and it will not get any "relief" from now onwards.
Talking about Azadi March, Marriyum Aurangzeb said all parties are supporting Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief's stance over staging protest against the government and toppling it.
Moreover, speaking to reporters outside the courtroom, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz did not explicitly voice support for the JUI-F's planned Azadi March in Islamabad.
"This government came to power through rigged elections; it has no legitimacy and it will soon meet a befitting end," Maryam said in reply to a question while talking informally outside an accountability court.
