A delegation of Jamiat Ulema-e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Tuesday held a meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders and discussed the proposed 'Azadi March' announced by the JUI-F. The JUI-F delegation led by Convener Rehbar Committee Akram Khan Durrani met with PPP senior leader and former chairman Senate Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari and other party leaders at Bokhari House. Leaders of the both parties discussed 'Azadi March,' current political situation of the country and the bye-elections in PS-II, Larkana-II, scheduled for October 17.
After the meeting, Durrani while talking to media persons said that whole opposition in united. He said that all the members of the Rehbar Committee would be present at the stage of Azadi March. About the bye-election, he said that the PPP did not seek JUI-f support. "We will try our level best to not create any conflict at small things. One seat does not matter. The JUI-F can give opposition leadership to the PPP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa," he added.
Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari said that it is unanimous decision of the opposition parties to get rid of the PTI government. He said that all opposition parties unanimously decided to participate in Azadi March. "Today we discussed the plan and strategy to make the Azadi March successful," he added. He said that all opposition parties would also contact with one another at grassroots level. He said that the people are in miserable condition due to increasing inflation in the country.
