What's in store? JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman seems to have derived a huge benefit from country's economic woes to step up his pressure on a seemingly beleaguered government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. That is why he has linked possibility of any talk with the government ahead of his 'Azadi March' with the resignation of prime minister Imran Khan.
That the Maulana is a shrewd player is a fact. He seems to have achieved much before his arrival in the federal capital for a dharna or sit-in. In other words, he has set a cat among 'Establishment's' pigeons. The government appears to be defensive; it needs to take the sit-in challenge seriously.
